We're No. 4 — for dogs. (Certainly not for baseball ...)
A recent study placed San Diego in that slot as being the most dog friendly city in the nation.
SmartAsset, a financial technology company, did the study. (Not Petco??? Not Alpo??? Not Milk Bones?)
Four California cities were in the top 10, with San Francisco taking the top spot. The study looked at a number of factors, such as the number of dog parks and the number of dog-friendly restaurants.
That's where San Diego rocked:
According to the study: "You thought San Francisco had a lot of dog-friendly restaurants? San Diego actually comes in at number one for that metric, offering 187 restaurants where you and your dog can get some grub."
Makes sense. Dogs have such sophisticated palates.
