Our City San Diego, a website that covers local politics, business and real estate, announced the launch of a print magazine for business and political leaders. The first issue ships this week with stories on San Diego’s most important industries, Big Ideas for private-public partnerships and a feature on the best family-friendly neighborhoods throughout the county.
“We are excited to provide San Diego leaders with a thoughtful and objective news source that covers the latest trends and provides forecasts,” said Jack Crittenden, president and Editor-In-Chief of Our City. “We have built a loyal web following and felt the time was right to provide San Diego with a high-quality magazine that covers the issues that matter most to CEOs, presidents and elected leaders.”
The magazine is divided into three sections: politics and civic issues, business and economics and real estate and construction.
Our City San Diego launched as a website in 2013 and has seen its viewership rise rapidly. More than 10,000 people visit the site each month, on average. The magazine will be mailed to 15,000 business and political leaders, a circulation that exceeds other local business publications. The premiere issue will be followed by nine issues in 2016.
Future stories will identify the most influential business leaders in 2015, highlight the top commercial real estate deals, and profile the movers and shakers in different industries.
Our City is published by Cypress Magazines, a 25-year-old local company that publishes magazines in legal education, golf real estate and business and law.
