One of the winners of CONNECT's annual Most Innovative New Products provides inflatable satellite communication antenna solutions.
Actually, inflatable satellite communication antennas are a big deal. Made by Cubic's GATR Technologies, they can be deployed in military zones, to help provide communication. They also can be deployed for humanitarian operations. They're lightweight. They can be set up in 30 minutes.
The good news? They're available for Christmas! (And they come in three colors!)
Once again, cutting-edge work done by San Diego companies was on display at CONNECT's annual homage to local innovation. Held recently, this was the 29th annual Most Innovative New Product event held by CONNECT — the region's innovation company accelerator.
“At CONNECT, we believe San Diego entrepreneurs can change the world,” said Greg McKee, CEO of CONNECT. “The Most Innovative New Product Awards is San Diego’s most exciting night in innovation because it gives us all a peek into the future of what the next big thing will be. CONNECT is proud to highlight all our finalist and winner companies. We know they will go on, as many MIP winners before them, to do great things.”
In all, 10 products were honored. Click on the slideshow to check out the winners.
