A graduate of Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, David formed McCullough Landscape Architecture as a sole proprietorship in 1999. Wife and partner, Catherine joined the business in 2001 and became Chief Executive Officer and President in 2002. MLA creates spaces for many hospitality, retail, mixed-use and institutional properties around the world. As principal landscape architect, David oversees all aspects of the design and production of firm projects at MLA. He serves as head designer on all projects and maintains quality control on all work completed. David was recently appointed by Mayor Kevin Faulconer to serve on the Historical Resources Board as Chair, as well as the city's Code Monitoring Team (CMT).

Nevin, economist and demographer, is Director of Research for Xpera Group. Xpera Group is a consultancy focusing on construction and real estate. Holding advanced degrees from Stanford University and American Universtiy, he has been active in the real estate advisory community for four decades. His recently released book "The Great Divide" focuses on the changes in the industrialized countries of the world and the United States in the next quarter century.

In 2011, David and Pete Garcia formed I.D.E.A. Partners to lead the development of I.D.E.A. District-Innovation + Design + Education + Arts-in downtown San Diego. This transformative initiative, located on 35 blocks in the Upper East Village, aims to create a vibrant, sustainable mixed-use district that will generate thousands of high-paying design + technology jobs in the next 10 years. IDEA1, their first mixed-use project with partner Lowe Enterprises, will be completed in September 2017. Over his 30+ year career, David has been the Project Executive on several transformative projects including The New Amsterdam Theatre in NYC, Hollywood and Highland, and Paseo Colorado in Pasadena. David is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Crittenden is a fifth-generation San Diegan who graduated with honors from University 
of Southern California administration, specializing his law degree from American College of Law. For the past 25 years he has led Cypress Magazines, which publishes five magazines. The company has worked closely with Crittenden Real Estate, a conference and news company that his father founded in 1971. Jack has won awards for his column and feature writing, and is an accomplished speaker.
